Running Of The Bulls

One of the things on my bucket list is to Run with the Bulls in Pamplona (Spain). But I wonder if it’s a good idea given that people always get hurt. This past weekend, several people suffered minor injuries and two people were hospitalized. This happened when a 1,411-pound bull named Navajito got a little too close to these participants. Running with the Bulls (also known as the San Fermin Festival) is a tradition that dates back to the 16th century. It is an 850-meter run through the streets of Pamplona that lasts less than five minutes. There were 4,000 folks crazy enough to get up close and personal with the bulls this year. To me, it looks like 50/50 odds of a bull encounter or being trampled by the crowds.  http://www.sanfermin.com
