  • The Charles Dickens Christmas Festival will be held on 11/22 & 11/23 in Southport, NC. This two-day fest features artisans, craftsmen, exhibitors and food vendors. Also, the Southport Community Building will have two performances of The Dickens Musical Revue (Friday, 7:30pm, and Saturday at 1pm). Both events will have an Old English Victorian Social gathering beforehand with a cash bar and silent auction. Trinity United Methodist Church hosts the performance of David zum Brennan presenting The Night Before Christmas Carol. The event also includes a Gingerbread Village, Christmas Trees and Christmas Wreaths. The Southport Gym hosts the Wilmington train, wood-turners and a special surprise exhibit. Tickets for indoor events cost between $3 and $10. All outdoor events are free.
