Are you a believer? Did aliens really crash here on July 9, 1947? Does this remain one of the biggest government cover-ups in American history?
To this day, the government is sticking to its story that an Air Force surveillance balloon crashed at a ranch near Roswell, New Mexico. However, not everyone is buying this story. It does seem strange that if it was indeed a weather balloon that the government would secure the area so quickly and aggressively and secretively…
All these years later the government has released some documents related to the incident, but don’t expect anything revealing in these documents, which you can find on www.theblackvault.com. To find out more you’ll have to go elsewhere. Several books have been written on this topic that you may want to read:
The Roswell Incident (1980) by Charles Berlitz and William Moore, authors who had previously written books on the Philadelphia Experiment and on the Bermuda Triangle. The theory presented by these authors is that an alien craft was flying over the New Mexico desert observing US nuclear weapons activity, but crashed after being hit by lightning, killing the aliens on board; a government cover-up duly followed. The authors claimed to have interviewed over ninety witnesses.
UFO Crash at Roswell (1991) by Kevin Randle and Donald Schmitt published UFO Crash at Roswell. They interviewed 100 new witnesses, in addition to providing addition information and theories.
Crash at Corona (1992) by Stanton Friedman, who states in his book that there were two flying saucers and eight aliens who crashed, two of which survived and were taken away by U.S. military personnel.
The Truth about the UFO Crash at Roswell (1994) by Randle and Schmitt (who wrote UFO Crash at Roswell). The new book includes claims that the aliens were retrieved by a cargo plane and later viewed by Dwight D. Eisenhower.
If you get to Roswell, New Mexico, you definitely want to check out the International UFO Museum at 114 N. Main Street. You may want to time your visit with the town’s annual UFO Festival (July). Other points of interests for visitors include Bottomless Lake State Park (camping, boating, and swimming) and Carlsbad Caverns National Park is just ninety miles due south.

Thanks for sharing this information! On a related note, I miss the mystery and paranormal programs of the 90s. That was good television, unless today’s programming.
