So the winners were chosen based on number of correct answers, not a random draw?

The winner was going to be randomly selected from all the correct entries. Otherwise, what was the point of all the questions? We could have just had everyone sign up rather than go to all the trouble of creating a 30-question-a-day quiz. But we wanted to make it an interactive contest. There was going to be a drawing from all the correct answers. But in going through the entries to delete ones with no answers or wrong answers we discovered some people were entering as many as a dozen times a day (even though the rules stated one entry per day). Obviously, this was done to increase their chances of winning and was not fair to other contestants. So the excess entries had to be deleted, which led us to discover another no-no. Some folks were entering belatedly. For example, question #13 was being answered on Day 27. Obviously, it is not fair to other participants if someone who misses a bunch of days just enters them on later dates near the end of the contest. This is especially unfair to folks who entered every single day from Day 1, as was the case with with a couple of dozen participants. So those entries had to be deleted too. So, in the end, the winner had to be the person with the most correct entries on the correct days.

Gotcha. (I was thinking it was a random draw from those with correct answers on the applicable day.)
        Congrats to the winners though!

    Hello Terrance,
Thank you for the great contest! I’m very excited to have won the books and am looking forward to reading them.
I didn’t receive an email this morning, so I sure hope I didn’t put a typo in my email address in one of my submissions. Please let me know if it bounces back to you.
    Thank you again!
    Holly
