I just recently learned that North Carolina has more breweries than other state south of Pennsylvania and east of Texas. With that in mind, the NC Brewers Guild and NC Division of Tourism have created a new event to celebrate. Throughout April, beer tastings, special dinners, tours, classes, and other events will make up NC Beer Month. So if you’re looking for something fun to do this month and enjoy a good cold one, this event is for you! Highlights include:
*Beer City USA (Asheville) April 12 – 14 featuring Highland Brewing
*NC Beer Lover’s Weekend (Greensboro) April 26 – 27 featuring a special beer dinner and beer-cooking classes
*Brewgaloo (Raleigh) April 27 featuring downtown festival with all things beer
*NC Brews Walkabout (Blowing Rock) featuring tasting tour and beer steins from Traditions Pottery
