Sometimes called “getting stuck” or “writer’s block” (I like to say “I’ve hit the wall!”) it all boils down to not being able to move forward with whatever you’re writing.
This can happen at any stage from writing a first draft to your final draft.
The good news is that this happens to EVERY writer at some point. So it is nothing to worry about. You just have to work through it–and we’ll tell you how.
In this episode of A WRITER’S JOURNEY: FROM BLANK PAGE TO PUBLISHED, my co-host Sara Whitford and I discuss when this is likely to happen and what to do about it. Sara is struggling with her second draft of A Smuggler’s Gambit so she had a lot to say about hitting the wall!
