I’m so excited! Fall is finally here. This is the first of many announcements I’ll be sharing about things to do in and around the Carolinas throughout the fall.

September 22 – October 23. (Charleston, SC) 35th ANNUAL FALL TOURS OF HOMES AND GARDENS. Your chance to see some exclusive homes fully decorated for fall and beautiful private gardens. http://www.preservationsociety.org

September 24. (Walterboro, SC) BONNIE DOONE FALL FESTIVAL. There will be hay rides, plantation tours, canoe rides, food, crafts, entertainment, and special children’s activities. http://www.bonniedoone.org

October 6 – 8 (Camden, SC). 15th ANNUAL CAROLINA DOWNHOME BLUES FESTIVAL. over the course of three days, there will be 43 performaces at 14 different locations starring 21 outstanding performers from all over the U.S. http://www.fineartscenter.org

October 8 – 9 (New Bern, NC). 31st ANNUAL MUMFEST. Approximately 80,000 attendees enjoy this spectacular festival, which includes the High Flying Incredible Purina Dog Team, Boat Show, Arts & Crafts, Food, Entertainment(including wine tastings, stunt show, and a comedian), Music (including River Jam at the marina), and Activities, such as a pumpkin patch and book sale. http://www.mumfest.com

October 8 (Pickens, SC) 33rd ANNUAL PUMPKIN FESTIVAL. Features a parade, pumpkin contest, music, food, and arts and crafts. 864-898-0261.

October 28 – 29 (Winston-Salem, NC). LEGENDS & LANTERNS EVENING TOURS AT OLD SALEM. See a different side of the historic site, Old Salem, during this special once a year event. http://www.oldsalem.org/halloween-tours
