Executive Producer J.J. Abrams will be shooting his new television series in the greater Wilmington area, starting late this summer. The show is about life fifteen years after the world loses electricity. The director is none other than Iron Man’s Jon Favreau. In addition to the 125 full time actors and production crew, the show “will be hiring hundreds of extras.” This is your chance to get into acting! Other shows that have been taped in Wilmington include Matlock, Surface, Dawson’s Creek, and One Tree Hill. Hundreds of movies have been filmed in the area, as well. REVOLUTION will air on NBC on Mondays at 10 p.m. starting this fall. Watch out Hawaii Five-O (CBS) and Castle (ABC)!
