HOW TO DO EUROPE ON THE CHEAP

Encyclopedia of CheapTravel-FrontCover
The biggest expenses are airfare, lodging, and tours. Here are three ways you can do these fairly cheap…

Find cheap airfare using strategies found in Chapter Four of THE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF CHEAP TRAVEL. Or you can simply go to sites, such as www.Hotwire.com and www.AirFastTickets.com.
Find cheap lodging. You can refer to Chapter Five of my cheap travel book or you can opt for Generator Hostels. This is all the rage in Europe. They are only offered in select cities right now but are expanding and should be in Rome and Paris by next year: Berlin, Barcelona, Hamburg, London, Dublin, Copenhagen, and Venice. Not only is the price right (ex. London for Ł25; that’s $42 a night!), but they offer lots of amenities: WiFi, bar, continental breakfast, laundry service, vending machines, private showers, dining, luggage storage, and more! www.generatorhostels.com
Find a cheap tour. All the options are discussed in Chapter Two of my book or you can try airline packages, such as those offered by British Airways and Aer Lingus. Or use a budget tour operator, such as Contiki and Untours.

Lastly, I recommend you look at the FREE travel reports on www.terrancezepke.com for more on cheap travel and Europe. Over the years, I have posted lots of useful information.
