I Dream of Africa

Filed Under: Terrance Talks Travel Tagged With: ADVENTURE TRAVEL, Africa, Independent Travel, International Travel, luxury travel

For those of you who know me well, you know that of all the places I’ve traveled to, Africa is my favorite. I’ve been wanting to go back for some time now, so I decided it was time. I started planning this trip last fall but somewhere along the way it morphed into something much bigger and better. I envisioned it as the ultimate once-in-a-lifetime “bucket list” trip. I have just gotten back and am happy to report that it was everything I had hoped for–and more!

People keep asking me what was the best part or my favorite part of the trip. After having given it a great deal of thought, I can’t say. Each aspect was so wonderful that I just have to say that the whole trip was “the best part.”  Since I have barely had time to unpack, I would rather wait until later date to share my stories. However, I did want to have something to post when my new website debuted, so here are a few pix…(if you hover your cursor over the image the caption will appear)

You can ride a cable car up to Table Mountain or spend the day hiking to it. After having hiked up to the cliffs at Cape Point and hiking much of the Lost City's 25-acre botanical garden, we chose the cable car!
