Calling all shoppers! The World’s Longest Yard Sale is coming soon!
Yard sale takes place August 4-7, 2016. When I first learned about this a couple of years ago, I was fascinated (and remain so). Here’s the deal: Along U.S. Route 127, beginning in Michigan, this yard sale extends all the way to Alabama, covering 690 miles. We’re talking a total of 127 yard sales. Plus, there’s so much to see and do along the way, such as a tasty ribfest, skydiving, and quirky museums. Lodging options range from camping to bed and breakfast inns.
