10/11 – 10/13 & 10/18 – 20: HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL (Poplar Grove Plantation). This festival includes a haunted hayride, kiddy fun house, palm readers, haunted barn, and more! www.poplargrove.com
10/13: ZOMBIE RUN (UNCW). This fundraiser will benefit Paws4People. Hide from zombies who attack with red color packets. www.wilmingtonzombierun.com
10/19: 12th ANNUAL LIGHTHOUSE BEER & WINE FESTIVAL (Randall Parkway). This is the grand finale to Wilmington’s Beer Week. Music, food, and more, including close to 100 craft breweries & wineries will be present. www.lighthousebeerfestival.com
10/18 – 20: 12th ANNUAL OKTOBERFEST OF WILMINGTON. The Harbour Town Fest Band will provide the music, there will be all kinds of events and refreshments. www.oktoberfestwilmington.com
10/29: BATTY BATTLESHIP’S HALLOWEEN BASH. Storytelling, trick or treating, games, tattoos, and more! www.battleshipnc.com
